Good morning! Thursday, but it feels like it should be Friday...

1. Backside of your Camera Profile Sheets
   Law of Reciprocity
   Sunny 16 Rule

     2.Read and Complete Chapter 2 Questions

3. Every time you take a picture...
    Focus, adjust aperture & shutter for correct exposure
    Minimum shutter speed for non-moving subjects & HAND holding the camera is 60
    Double check focus & exposure
    Exhale when you press shutter release button

4.Camera Questions???No?OK-now load it.
        Come right after school today for individual questions.
        DO NOT LOAD YOUR CAMERAS with film until you know how to operate it.

5. Anyone interested in DUAL CREDIT? Free college credit from COD for sophomores-seniors.

      2. Elements Project-due Monday, February 11(Color Film-single prints-process at Walgreens/Jewel)

2. Take out your cameras- go over parts of the camera

3. Fill out ALL of Camera Profile Sheet-due Friday

4. DO NOT LOAD YOUR CAMERAS with film. 

5. Reading your light meter

6. Focus, adjust aperture & shutter for correct exposure
    Minimum shutter speed for non-moving subjects & HAND holding the camera is 60
    Double check focus & exposure
    Exhale when you press shutter release button

7. Loading/Rewinding film handout
   Before step 6, write ***advance and take a picture 3 times BEFORE closing the back of the camera

Happy Friday!

1. Faves Sheets due 5pts. participation (Late/Absent)
    Present them and then hang on the wall with white tape.

   Look at teacher camera.
   Add these #s to chapter 1 study guide
   F-stops & Shutter Speeds-start memorizing them so you know what they do=desired picture effect
   Types of batteries and film.
    
4. Read Chapter 1 & Complete Questions-you can go to the library for textbook
    Be resourceful-some answers can be found online if you search.

    Due Monday

Day 3

Photography is fun! You will learn a lot of new information. If you utilize class time wisely, you will do very well in the class. Your only homework is to shoot a roll of 24 exposure film based on the project theme. You have at least 2 weekends to complete this. In this class you will learn to take better pictures and hopefully have a greater appreciation for photography as an art form by the end of semester :)

1. Faves Sheets due 5pts. participation
    Present them and then hang on the wall with white tape.

2. Safety Agreement due Monday. Signed by parent/guardian.

3. Go in to darkroom and pick the enlarger you will work at for the rest of the semester 
    (this will also be your book number)
    Sign up on the sheet.
    Do not pick enlargers 24, 25, & 26 (they are class proof/demo stations)
    
4. Read Chapter 1 & Complete Questions-you can go to the library for textbook
    Be resourceful-some answers can be found online if you search.

    Try to complete part of Chapter 1 Study Guide on the back
    I will give you time tomorrow too.
